Cake:
1. Combine flour and baking powder and set aside.
2. Melt butter in large saucepan. Remove from Heat
3. Blend in sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture. 1
4. Spread batter in greased (9x13) pan.
5. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°
Topping:
Melt butter in small saucepan.
2. Add and mix sugar, corn syrup, water and salt.
3. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes stirring constantly.
4. Stir in almonds.
5. Spread topping evenly over cake surface.
6. Bake 15 minutes at 350°
