1 Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2 Stir in garlic and cook for 15 seconds, or until the fragrance is released.
3 Remove from heat to cool lightly.
4 Stir in remaining ingredients and boil once more.
5 Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
6 Set aside 1/2 cup to serve at the table.
7 Use remainder to marinate poultry, meat and seafood before grilling.
8 Discard used marinade.
