1. Wash cucumber peal onion • cut into rings
2. Arrange layers in a large bowl, sprinkling salt on each layer.
3. Place Ice cubes and repeat layers.
4. Let stand for 2 3 hours. Drain.
5. Combine spices etc. Heat to boil.
6. Add cucumbers & onions till they change colour.
7 Pack in sterile jars using brine.
